You can’t steer a parked car

Even though this resembles to be a technical fact, it holds some key lessons for our life too. For a car to be steered in the direction of our choice, it must be in a state of moving. A parked car cannot be steered. This basic funda is known to most of us, I would rather say all of us. In our life too, we need to be in a dynamic state, to direct our life in the way which we want. Being in a static condition, not only do we never go anyplace also we are not able to direct ourselves to our desired destiny.
Keep moving in life, towards our goal. Staying put for a while to relax, rethink, analyze, plan, is all good but being in that state for long makes us complacent. Our life just like all other living beings on this planet is meant to grow but it’s us who are holding ourselves back from reaching our purpose.
A hardcore deity always prayed to God to help him win a lottery. He kept praying for years and years without giving up any hope. But at his dying breathe his hope dwindled and just a few moments before he said to God, “I am coming to meet you personally.” In his sentence, his anger reflected very much about not winning a lottery. Soon after reaching heaven, he rushed to God and complained, about why he didn’t help him. In return, God smiled and said, “You fool!!! To win a lottery first you need to buy one.”
Many of us have our life parked safely, afraid of moving ahead, afraid of bringing change, afraid of taking action, afraid of setting goals, afraid of learning new skills, afraid of exploring new things and all such fears keep us parked safely. Make your life meaningful, purposeful, joyful, delightful, set goals, take new challenges, get out of your comfort zone, and take risks. Sometimes things might go wrong, it is always meant to be that way. Nothing is permanent and everything changes. But it doesn’t mean to get stuck in life.
Park your life as a part of moving ahead. Life is precious, make it large, make it big, and always keep moving towards your goal!!
